Both landmark buildings were designed by Italian architects Mario Tamagno and Annibale Rigotti.
10:30 AM : Royal Plaza (Equestrian Statue of King Chulalongkorn)
Pay respects to the statue of King Rama V and view the exterior of Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, designed by Mario Tamagno.
11:30 AM : Wat Benchamabophit (The Marble Temple):
Features heavy Italian influences, ranging from the imported Italian marble used to build the temple, to stained-glass windows inside the ordination hall, and the canal bridge.

01:50 PM : Wat Ratchathiwat Viharn:
Features interior mural paintings (if the hall is open) designed by Prince Narisara Nuvadtivong and executed using the wet fresco technique by Italian painter Carlo Rigoli.
03:00 PM : Drive past Bang Khun Phrom Palace:
Initially designed by German architect Karl Döhring, then taken over and completed by Mario Tamagno.
03:30 PM : Bridge of Tears (Mahadthai Uthit Bridge):
Plaster sculptures and decorative stucco patterns on the bridge are believed to be the work of Vittorio Novi, an Italian sculptor employed in Siam since 1912 who also sculpted decorations for the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall.
